Drill
foot drill and mace signals

This site is aimed at Drum Majors worldwide from all bands and I hope that you will all want to contribute to it. The drill section is therefore aimed at other marching bands as well as pipe bands, but will be marked as such whenever there are differences in the drill. Pipe band DMs, remember you will end up on a parade somewhere in your lifetime having to do 'Mil band' drill. To keep it simple, all the files posted here will appear in Adobe Acrobat format or MPEG video. That way you will be able to print them out, or play back to remind you what to do.

Here is a basics taster, it contains the mark time sequence and basic hand positions for civilian bands. 620kb Acrobat PDF.
